Wow, what can I say? EA has truly outdone themselves. I know, I know, the video game industry/community has been working hard to promote a female friendly environment, but you know, whatev. Well, at least, that's what EA must be saying. I think this advertisement is a prime example of how ignorant and childish the video game scene remains. I'm still very surprised this even made it through the system.
I feel as if the gaming community has taken good steps forward for female gamers, but with this, they have once again alienated the opposite sex. Way to go EA! Many online communities exist promoting equality and fairness for all, regardless of sex, age, religion, orientation, etcetera... ones like DSO Clan, the Good Gaming Network, and Gathering of Gamers. It seems EA has other ideas, lets make it as alienating as possible for everyone except horny male teenage gamers. That shouldn't offend anyone, right?
Poor EA booth babes... they basically have been prostituted out. I mean, really, you tell someone it's okay to commit an act of lust with your own employees and what do you think's going to happen? There's going to been some very inappropriate actions taking place. Not just inappropriate, but down right offensive. I really think EA has made a mistake with this kind of marketing ploy. It just seems to be so... wrong. I know that's probably what they're aiming for, but really isn't it crossing the line when you bring the video game world into the real world? Jack Thompson (if he still could) would have a field day with this.

Summer is in full swing, but the busy holiday season is just around the corner. Which means the most exciting time for gamers around the world is quickly approaching.
The last half of the year always brings in a wave of new games: all fighting over that coveted spot under our Christmas trees. It's a gamers candyland and, of course, this year is no different. So many amazing games are coming out this year - I'll never be able to choose just one!....or five!
Batman: Arkham Asylum
Definitely a different spin on the beloved Batman series, Batman: Arkham Asylum feels more like cut scenes from House on Haunted Hill than a comic book. B:AA is also a stark contrast to the Lego: Batman video game that came out earlier last year. The response from the public has been nothing short of excitement, but one does have to wonder if B:AA will get lost in the sea of horror-themed games that have come out previously this year and last.
Guitar Hero 5, The Beatles: Rock Band, Lips #1 Hits, DJ Hero, Rock Band: Lego, Band Hero
It's finally time to cover one of the most ambitious games this year. It is also the sequel to the #1 Game of 2007, #1 most sold first person shooter ever, and #2 video game of all time in the USA with over 11 million copies sold and growing. That's right, we're talking about Barbie Horse Adventures 2 Modern Warfare 2.
We don't have all the details, but we do have information that is good enough for us. So far, multiplayer has been kept hush hush by Infinity Ward and what has been confirmed for campaign doesn't necessarily mean it will be in multiplayer.

Story
You play as Sgt. Gary "Roach" Sanderson and your captain is Captain John "Soap" MacTavish in Task Force 141. If you remember the first Modern Warfare, you played as Soap, but now he commands you. Ultimately, we do not know enough of the story ourselves, but it definitely continues where Modern Warfare left off. The world is not safe because of a Russian terrorist group lead by Makarov, who is in association with Zakhaev. We'll have to play the game when it releases to understand the story more completely.
Weapons and Equipment
Other than the ice-picks in the E3 demo? Oh, I thought that was sufficient. Alright, fine. Here we go.

Where can you find the fastest portal completion (14 min 27 sec, Michael Yanni, 2/26/08), the best-selling launch for an XBLA title (Rez HD [25,000 downloads in May 2008, its launch month]), and the longest drum marathon in Rock Band (26 hr 40 min, set by Sean Feica [Canada]. He played through every song at the time [243 tracks] from July 26-28, 2008.)? Why the 2009 Guinness Book of World Records - Gamer Edition of course!

February 4, 2009 was big day for gamer knowledge seekers. GBoWR: GE is packed full off the most awesome... and the most random... gamer trivia. From completion times to marathons. From high scores to challenges: you can find it all in this book. Some of the spreads this book includes are:
Space Games Intro - History of Gaming - Top 3 Console Games - Professional Gaming - Best of Playstation 3 - How to be a Record Breaker - Grand Theft Auto - Guitar Hero
You can check out 18 pages of the book here: http://viewer.zmags.com/publication/32a6d8e8#/32a6d8e8/1 It's always great to try before you buy!
Everyone cheats in some way. We all can say that at some point, we searched around for some cheat codes. Almost everyone knows what "up up down down left right left right B A Start" is for. It's for Contra if you don't. However, cheating 22 years ago isn't exactly the same now.
Yeah we still have the same general button input method, but there are a few new methods. Granted, these five methods are mainly used on first person shooters, but could you see any reason someone would want to modify Dr. Mario Online Rx or 1 vs. 100?
#5 Super Bouncing
Halo 2 at it's finest, right!? Anyone who owned it experienced becoming a target of sniping from someone 150 feet above you. Super Bouncing (or as some called Super Jumping) was just a minor annoyance, however. If you knew what to look for, then you had the chance of foiling the cheater's plans by sniping them down from their spots.
#4 Under Map/Out of Map
On the other hand, out of map or under map would be a little harder to recover from. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare held the trophy for these. Hiding behind a building off in the distance or under the map would be a cheater impossible to see. You could also include the several places that a normal person would never think of trying to get on top of (i.e. a building with no entrance/stairs, laying down on a thin sheet metal fence, a stairway railing, on top of a flaming barrel, and more).
#3 Stand By-ing
