A New Halo 3 Map Unveiled...

A few days ago, Bungie posted to their front page an article not only discussing the thrilling world of latency and accuracy dynamics of the Halo 3 Battle Rifle in comparison to the Halo 2 Battle Rifle, but also unveiled a new map that will be included in the next map pack. Seeing as how a lot of people enjoy playing Halo 3 around here, I figured you guys would be excited... Apparently the new map will be a remake of the popular Halo: Combat Evolved map, Chill Out. Dubbed Cold Storage, the announcement also came with 2 screenshots of the level, which are below (Also the large versions are ~1.5 Megs, so they'll take a little bit to load):

Busting Ghosts. Finally!

Who you gonna call? Well, first your friends so you can tell them the awesome news, but after you read this article, first. They're all back. Seriously! Ray, Egon, Venkman, and Winston are in another ghost busting adventure. Now, I understand that this video includes some scenes that are similar to the first movie. However, it has been promised that the game will continue where Ghostbusters 2 left off.

Just like the movies, Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis have signed on to write the story for the game. In fact, Aykroyd, Ramis, as well as Bill Murray and Ernie Hudson will be doing the voice acting for their original characters. For years it has been asked if there would be a third movie. Aykroyd states that this is the third movie. Right now, there is reason to believe that the scenes in the video were created for demonstration of game-play or more hopefully as extra playable missions. Either way, these are all good reasons to understand its release in fall 2008. Vivendi plans to release Ghostbusters: The Video Game for PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. It is rumored that a different company (Red Fly Studios) will be making versions for Playstation 2, Wii and DS. Grogulus

Best Suicide Video in Halo 3... Poor Guy.

If the previous post is an example of extremely good luck, then this is an example of extremely bad luck. If it had happened to me, I would have had that completely dumb-struck look on my face for a good 10 minutes. Poor guy, well, at least he has documented proof of the event, just like the guy in the previous post. Otherwise, I don't think anyone would believe him too.

Enjoy,
Matt

One the most awesome Halo 3 Grenade Stick Videos Yet...

Wow. Yeah, wow. That's one freakin' lucky grenade stick. Out of all the Halo vids I've seen, this one takes the cake for grenade sticks. Heh, good thing we now have the saved films feature in Halo 3, otherwise, I don't think anyone would believe this guy. Freaking awesome, is it not?

Minor Details

Yeah, I know I fed you a bunch of information on Halo 3 last week, but do you really think I told you everything? I don't. We left some stuff out and we want everyone to get more excited as it gets closer to September 25th. Of course I told you about multiplayer, 4-player co-op, and more, but I didn't share with you the important small changes within these subjects that should have you squealing like a girl at 11:58 on Sept. 24 while standing in line at a GameStop or EbGames.
