Gotta Get a GoW Girl

Gears girl gamers across the globe have a little perk in their step today upon learning about the *possible* playable woman character in the rumored Gears of War 3. Epic Games' Cliff Bleszinski made an appearance on XBL's current hit, 1 vs. 100. He was flooded with questions about the coming game and while his official reponse to the female character was that it was a "possible [aspect] of a game that 'may or may not' be in development," that didn't stop the news from spreading like wildfire. Bleszinski continued to dance around the topic, never giving a clear answer either way. Eyebrows were already raised when the upcoming Gears of War movie director, Len Wiseman requested at Comic Con that the movie have "female characters" for the movie. He really turned some heads on that one and the rumors started flying.

Personally, I'm sure the game and movie will be great either way. Epic will have a lot of happy customers on their hands if they decide to move forward on this. And that's never a bad thing. I'm sure the girls over in DSO Clan's GoW2 division are holding their breath on this one! Hang in there ladies!
